NTFS ermöglicht transparente dateibasierte Kompression, zeigt jedoch die Kompressionsrate nicht an. Für jeden Ordner auf einem NTFS Laufwerk zeigt NTFSRatio Größe und Kompressionsrate des Ordners und seiner Unterordner an. Außerdem kann die Kompression und Dekompression direkt innerhalb von NTFSRatio mit sofortiger Kontrolle der Ergebnisse erfolgen. Die Ergebnisse können gedruckt oder exportiert werden. NTFSRatio kann aus dem Explorer Kontextmenü jedes Ordners gestartet werden.
