You probably have found that your Archos portable video player doesn`t accept all the video in your collection, and even if Windows Media Player accepts it, it will give an annoying `Server Exception` message when you sync your Archos player. You can also extract audio from those video formats, or convert AC3, AIFF/AIFC, APE, AU, FLAC, MP3, MPA, MPC, MKA, OFR, OGG, RA, SD2, SHN, SND, TTA, WAV and WMA audio to Archos-compatible WMA audio. It can convert from un-encrypted DVD, from individual chapters or several seamless chapters as one unit. Different Archos models have different screen resolution, and it can play video with higher resolution on TV. Other software will always scale the video to 320x240.
