It can backup just your unique work, ignoring files you can get from installation CDs. ShadowBack will automatically and easily back up all of your important files. ShadowBack - knows when files have changed and can back them up immediately. - knows how to backup data from popular applications even if they are running and have locked their data files. - knows where popular applications store data - knows what data doesn`t have to be backed up from popular applications - has an automatic mode where the user merely has to insert and label media. - has encryption and compression options
