SiteRecorder is a software utility that automatically performs backups of your website and notifies you when it changes. If you outsource any part of your web hosting or web development, it is important for you as the owner of the site to have a complete backup copy at your location. SiteRecorder can backup your website no matter where it is hosted. SiteRecorder goes beyond traditional backup by creating a revision history of your website as it changes. Think of SiteRecorder as your "digital audit trail." Storing a complete copy of your website is ideal for disaster recovery-either restoring the whole site or fixing mistakes.
