XVideoOCX allows easy integration of real-time video capture capabilities into your applications. The control supports most WDM-capable video devices such as USB- cameras and frame grabbers in conjunction with a CCD camera or camcorder, as well as AVI sequences, screenshots and image files as image sources. Images can be saved in several output formats including compressed AVI sequences or image files in BMP and JPEG format. With just a few lines of code, you are ready to display and access video images. Applications for XVideoOCX range from scientific image processing to surveillance and multimedia webcams. Just drop XVideoOCX into your programming application, change a few properties, add a few lines of code and you are ready to go. XVideoOCX works smoothly in most ActiveX hosting environments, such as Visual Basic, Visual C, FoxPro and Delphi.
