Advanced Tetris for Pocket PC is a new reworking of classic Tetris with some extra features and variations. It is, in fact, seven Tetris games in one: the original Tetris, Pentix, Color Tetris, Kids Tetris, Kids Pentix, Advanced Tetris and Advanced Pentix. Pentix is a popular variation of Tetris that uses pieces of different shapes. It may be considered more challenging than good old Tetris. Colour Tetris changes Tetris in that when three or more tiles of the same color in a multicoloured blocks touch in any direction they eliminate themselves. Kids Tetris and Kids Pentix are extremely addictive games for young kids. Children get to work on their spatial skills as they attempt to piece together blocks of different shapes to form complete rows. While classic Tetris involves variations of 4 blocks, this version uses random variations of 2, 3 or 4 blocks. Advanced Tetris and Advanced Pentix have two extra game pieces in the shape of Destroyer and Creator. Destroyer will basically remove any block you want by pressing the spacebar, and Creator does the opposite, enabling you to create a block anywhere you wish, again by pressing the spacebar. Support for many languages, light background music and eight different block sets to play with make Advanced Tetris an enhanced version of your favorite Tetris. You can use your own sound effects if you like, but the preset sounds will not disturb you while you play. The Background picture can also be changed to your liking.
