EditPad Pro is a compact but powerful syntax coloring text and hexadecimal editor. It`s a perfect Notepad replacement with a convenient tabbed interface, and all the features a solid text editor needs but without any bloat. With EditPad Pro you can open as many files at a time as you want. You change between the open files by clicking on their tabs. No hassle with heaps of overlapping windows. No limit on the size of files you can open and edit with it. No maximum line length. Unlimited undo and redo. You can even undo changes after saving them. Block functions: save parts of your text to disk and insert a file in the current text. Rectangular blocks are supported as well. Specify many print settings: font, margins, headers/footers, etc. and immediately see the effects in the powerful print preview. Catch typo`s with the built-in spell checker. Dictionaries are available in many languages. Make your life easy with EditPad Pro`s syntax coloring schemes. You can even create your own schemes and download those that others have shared. Use the compare files (diff) feature if you have two versions of a file, to visualize changes. Run external tools such as compilers or fancy Perl scripts from within EditPad Pro and have EditPad send the tools your files as input and capture their output into new tabs. You can have EditPad Pro show a system tray icon that remains visible, even if EditPad Pro is closed, for quick access. Many settings such as word wrap, line numbering and auto indent can be made for each file type individually. You can also define your own file types which will be used to build the filters for open and save dialog boxes. Open and save UNIX and Mac text files. Uppercase, lowercase, invert case and initial caps conversion. Convert between Windows ANSI, DOS ASCII and Unicode formats.
