Need a military grade file encryption software? Would you like to delete (shred) files and be 100% sure they can`t be `undeleted`? How about protecting data stored with removable drives? File Encryption XP does all that and more! File Encryption XP is password protection software for Windows. Files are encrypted with hack-proof Blowfish algorithm. This tool works with USB drives, flash memory cards, HDDs, ZIP drives, and works with any Windows PC. When encrypting files, the passwords are not `inserted` inside the encrypted files, so if you lose you data carrier, no one will be able to launch, view or alter files protected with File Encryption XP. Brute Force or Dictionary Attacks won’t help in cracking encrypted files. To use File Encryption XP, one does not need to be a computer whiz or a cryptologist. The program is brain-dead simple and very intuitive. File Encryption XP adds items into Windows Explorer popup menu to simplify encryption and decryption tasks. Since this application is capable of creating self-extracting encrypted files (.exe), File Encryption XP is perfect for secure file transfer over Internet, e-mail or corporate network. It does not matter if the other PC has File Encryption XP installed or not. Another important feature is 100% guaranteed file erasing. As you may be aware, there are a number of solutions out there capable of `undeleting` files. None of these will be able to recover deleted files previously processed with File Encryption XP. In addition, the program can work with groups of files and features own encrypted file search system. This utility is easily set up and configured, with all individual settings automatically saved.
