GFI MailEssentials for Exchange/SMTP is a server based anti spam, anti-phishing & email management solution for Microsoft Exchange Server & Notes/SMTP servers. Over 98% of spam and phishing mail are caught before they reach the mail server, no need to deploy client software. Its advanced Spam detection technology is based on the following key features: Bayesian filtering technology (Over 98% capture rate with Bayesian alone!). Downloads updates to spam profile database. Mail header analysis & keyword checking, 3rd party DNS blacklists (DNSBL) checking, Foreign language spam blocking, Automatic whitelist management, Custom blacklists. GFI MailEssentials includes comprehensive anti-phishing capabilities; protects users from phishing emails by detecting and blocking them before they reach the recipient’s mailbox. Emails originating from, and terminating at the network are processed by advanced technologies built in GFI MailEssentials, maximizing spam capture rate whilst minimizing false positives.
