In recent years, Pocket PC technology has been vigorously developed. These devices are palm-sized and often equal traditional desktop computers in their functionality. Keeping-up-to-date, Perpetuum Software LLC developed Instrumentation Widgets for PDA: a component intended for creation Graphical User Interfaces for Pocket PC applications. Using this product, a developer can provide realistic simulation of various hardware devices. The delivery package includes a library of high-resolution gauges such as sliders, dials, thermometers, switches, buttons etc. Double buffering provides flicker-free animation of the gauges and that is an essential feature of Pocket PC components. All device emulators are customized and scaled depending on the specifics of the application. Gauges orientation, size, color, font types, value range, number format and other properties can be changed at the user`s discretion. It is possible to bind all object properties to a data source of any kind. The product is convenient and easy-to-use and is provided with demo applications. This components library is fully compatible with the .Net Compact Framework 1.1/2.0 and contains only managed code. All these features allow for the creation of professional .Net applications with convenient user interface. Instrumentation Widgets for PDA distribution comes royalty free. The product is released to the following editions: for the .Net Compact Framework 1.1 and for the .Net Compact Framework 2.0. The Professional Edition is shipped with the full source code.
