Jarte is a compact, free word processor and Wordpad replacement with a unique, easy to use interface. Features include RTF and DOC support, OLE support (insert pictures, sounds, etc), tabbed document access, high quality spell checker, page breaks, print preview, visual header & footer designer, clipboard clip history viewer, online reference bar (includes dictionary, thesaurus, encyclopedia, grammar, and quotes), multi-level undo & redo, customizable background, single click bookmarking, and much more. A detailed Help file is also included. Jarte makes a great replacement for both the WordPad and Notepad programs that come with Windows. In fact, Jarte is based on the same editing engine included in WordPad and used by millions of people. Jarte is designed to fit the needs of students, writers, home users, and small business.
