LanTool could be the answer to your network administration needs. Designed to make remote administration a breeze, it is ideally suited for implementations which require remote network administration such as corporate networks, cyber cafés, exhibition centres, hotels and many other types of network. LanTool is an advanced network administration environment that incorporates a compact design, yielding a low memory footprint, for unmatched speed and performance. It allows easy access to information on your network and Since it runs as a Windows service, it is available even before a user logs on. Designed from the ground up for efficiency, LanTool means that you won`t be waiting around to query computers on your network. LanTool communicates directly with each client, and avoids the delays that can be introduced by the operating system. You can restart, shutdown, hibernate, suspend and lock any computer on your network, without the need to physically be there. In seconds, you can ascertain which hardware is connected to a particular machine, how long the computer has been running for, or who`s connected without having to yell or pick up the phone. Detailed information, on any machine running on your network, is just a click away. Wake up remote machines, log off users, or get a snapshots of currently active computers on the network, find out who`s logged on and more. Acquire Network inventory of software and hardware, tasks running, software installed, hardware connected, detailed network information such as IP and MAC addresses, active connections, network adapter stats (packets Tx/Rx). Then measure the quality of your network between two points with the bandwidth tests.
