Does astronomy intrigued you? Do you often look into the sky at night and marvel at the wonderous reaches of space? The moon is the closest celestial object to us. But did you know that the same side of the moon always faces the earth no matter where the moon is in the sky or what phase the moon is in. The back side of the moon is never seen from the earth. And that is referred to as the dark side of the moon. But the dark side of the moon is not always dark. The sun could be shining on it, but we cannot see it because that side of the moon is never in view from earth. If you have an interest in astronomy or lunar events, Moon Glimmer will enable you to monitor the lunar phases without stepping outside. If it raining, snowing, or just plain cold to go outside, you will know the current moon phase right on your computer. Moon Glimmer is extremely easy to use. Just start the program and it will show you the current lunar phase based on the time and date of your Windows clock. Moon Glimmer will show you graphically display of the current moon phase and other crucial information such as moon age, distance, ecliptic latitude, and ecliptic longitude. If you are an amateur astronomer, you will find Moon Glimmer to be a useful tool.
