PC Chaperone provides the most comprehensive parental controls available by combining powerful Internet filters, instant messenger controls, time management, and user activity monitoring tools. Robust Internet filters include pre-compiled URL white and blacks lists that classify tens of thousands of individual web sites as having either benign or dangerous content while dynamic filters categorize hundreds of thousands of additional pages. Additional limits can be enforced through the customizable white and black lists. Browser activity can even be monitored to help identify dangerous or prohibited activities. The advanced AOL (AIM), MSN, and Yahoo Instant Messenger controls give complete control over which contacts users can engage in conversations with. Conversations can also be recorded for future review to help identify dangerous behavior The time management tools give complete control over any program through the most powerful and comprehensive scheduling tools available. Unique schedules can be set for any program or similar programs, such as computer games, can be grouped together to share a common schedule. The Internet scheduling tools even allow unique schedules for individual web sites. This allows schedule restrictions to be placed on one or more web sites without affecting other sites, making it the ideal tool for limiting the amount of time users spend on sites such as MySpace.com
