PC Icon Extractor is the best utility designed to scan the directories and drives on your computer and extract all icons it finds inside of all exe, dll, drv, scr, ocx, vbx, ico, ni, il and icl files. Everything you see on your desktop or in the Start menu can be located and extracted with PC Icon Extractor. PC Icon Extractor can extract high-quality icons that are stored in any type of file and save to ico file without color disortion. It gives you the option either to extract from a specific file or extract all registered Windows icons. The icons can be saved in the current directory where the file is located, or put it into a separate directory of your choice. It can import all icons in your hard drives and save all icons at once. PC Icon Extractor can export icons to *.ico file at the size of 16 x 16, 32 x 32 and 48 x 48. With the color of Monochrome(1 bit), 16 colors(4 bits), 256 colors(8 bits) and True colors(24 bits).
