PAD (Portable Application Description) files are the brain child of the Association of Shareware Professionals (`ASP`). They allow software developers to submit program information to participating sites without the need of filling in lengthy forms. The finished PAD file is in a predetermined XML format which can be easily read by those software sites. They can then automatically poll your PAD to keep their archives always up to date. PadEditor by BB is a tiny application which produces fully functional ver 2.0 PAD files. Unlike most other PAD creation applications, it is written in Visual Basic 6 with no bloated redundant code, to keep its size small. The finished package is a tiny 107kb, which also includes the installer, uninstaller and the help files.
