Project planner enterprise is a scalable client / server software which lets you manage all projects in your enterprise. All members in the enterprise can view/update/modify task status in their projects. Using the built-in metrics, Smartworks project planner lets you predict the slippage in terms of cost/schedule for all projects in the organization. The edition is scalable based on the size of your organization. The price starts from US$249.95 for a 5 seat license (Home office). The other editions include small office (10 seats), Mini (20 seats), Professional (50 seats) and enterprise (unlimited seats for a single geographical site) Several improvements have been done to Project Planner 4.7 based on customer feedback. List of new features in Project Planner 4.7: Create projects quickly and easily using Project creation Wizard Plan a project by splitting a project into well defined tasks Printable spreadsheet like interface to edit the project plan Summary view to show the project health based on number of tasks and project duration Ability to add multiple resources and assign a task owner to a task Mark the task progress by changing the task status in terms of percentage completion Printable Gantt chart to analyze the progress with respect to time, resources or status Critical path in Gantt Chart for in-depth project analysis and dynamic calculation of critical path and task slack Calendar to set the working days in project, also ability to set number of working hours in a day Tasks filters for easy viewing of tasks Network Diagram to see the project flow Automatically generated reminder for lagging tasks Estimation view to project completion based on the current status Customizable warning mail configuration, for lagged tasks and tasks which are about to slip Inbuilt risk management with mitigation and contingency A 30-day risk free trial version of the software can be downloaded from site
