RocketReader Vocab is a vocabulary builder that allows you to learn a broad range of powerful words. It includes 47 lessons, 37 of which are available in the 14-day trial version. The lessons cover a variety of topics from the boardroom talk to exotic clothing items. Powerful unlimited vocabulary lesson editor is also included so you can train yourself on your own vocabulary sets. This feature makes RocketReader Vocab a great tool for SAT preparation. The SAT is the Scholastic Aptitude Test and is feared by American youth. The SAT results largely determine who enters the gates of the Ivy League and who goes to a lesser known university. The sentence completion component of the SAT requires students to have a very rich vocabulary. The SAT tends to focus on less common words that we may not see in regular everyday use. It is not easy to prepare for this component of the SAT. Vocabulary is absorbed over years of reading, listening and speaking. Many students spend years in preparation by learning one or two word meanings each day. RocketReader Vocab makes preparing for the SAT easier and more efficient than ever. Creating your own lessons is quick and easy. If you are a `visual` type of learner, you can download images from the internet and associate them with the words you need to learn.
