RunDNS is a stand alone DynDNS DDNS client for Linux and UNIX based systems. Written in ISO-standard C, it runs natively and effectively on your computer without any need of resource consuming interpreters like Java™, Perl and PHP. Just launch the install program and RunDNS is ready to run. It will run silently and smoothly as a background process and updates your account securely with SSLv3 encryption every time it is necessary - but not too often so that your account will not expire due to abuse. RunDNS resolves your public ip correctly, whatever your network configuration is and it updates all your hosts at the same time. RunDNS also takes care that your account will not expire (because of too low or too high frequent updates). It cannot be much more fun and simple than this. And not much more secure. RunDNS uses strong encryption provided by the famous OpenSSL project. -- `Run Internet services home, RunDNS`.
