You know it`s somewhere on your PC, but you can`t seem to find it. That elusive word processing doc, photograph, MP3 or other important file is hiding somewhere within the gigabytes of electronic file cabinets on your PC hard drive and you need it now. It used to be that your only real option was to run the Windows search utility and then go walk the dog while the software crawled its way through every byte of file storage. But that was before Search GT, the PC-based file-find utility that speeds up the file searching process by up to 100 times and is usually capable of finding your target file in 2 seconds or less! Unlike some other resource-intensive search solutions that constantly hog system resources and create index files taking up disk storage space, Search GT doesn`t work in the background and doesn`t rely upon index files to get the job done. Fully integrated with Windows Explorer, Search GT duplicates the Windows File Search functionality but with a greater degree of speed and efficiency. You simply start the search and get the search results within the Windows Explorer screen. You already know how to use Search GT. It`s that simple. Plus, because Search GT works in real-time, search results are always `up-to-date`. This means that all file system changes (added/removed files, changed file names, etc.) are immediately reflected in the search results window as they occur.
