SpyCatcher is an advanced antispyware tool. It detects thousands of spyware, adware, Trojans and other threats, and SpyCatcher updates automatically to provide state-of-the-art protection. SpyCatcher is the only anti-spyware product with a Reinstall Shield to defend against aggressive spyware programs which silently reinstall after deletion. SpyCatcher`s Protector watches your PC for running spyware and alerts you before new spyware is installed. The Protector also blocks ‘phishing’ scams which try to dupe you into entering your credit card information into false Web sites, typically posing as banks. Unlike other anti-phishing tools which rely on inefficient and inaccurate ‘blacklists’ of spoof sites, SpyCatcher’s Protector uses patent-pending technology to compare the site you are visiting to the true bank’s Web site in real-time, and warns you if the visited site appears to be illegitimate before your financial and personal privacy is compromised. Also unique to SpyCatcher is the Parachute feature, which automatically detects advanced spyware that installs itself at continually higher levels in the boot process of your PC, allowing the programs to watch you even when you aren’t surfing the Web. When such activity is detected, SpyCatcher’s Parachute reboots the PC in ‘Safe’ mode, deletes whatever spyware it has found and then reboots the computer again normally. The Scheduler allows you to automatically run sweeps when you’re away and includes a huge online library for researching a program’s threat, its infection methods and various useful statistics. The Detective feature lets you see and easily remove all the unwanted hidden programs on your PC. SpyCatcher even disguises disabled adware as ‘active’ to trick some ad-dependent software into running, though its threat has been eliminated. SpyCatcher is an intuitive and powerful way to protect your PC from the many malicious programs that bypass anti-virus software and firewalls - don`t go online without it
