Gnostice eDocEngine is a generic electronic document creation component suite for Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, Borland Delphi 8 .NET and Borland C++Builder. eDocEngine enables you to create rich electronic documents in over 18 popular formats, including PDF, RTF, HTML, Excel, TIFF, SVG, PNG, JPEG, Metafile and many more. eDocEngine provides a rich set of API to easily format any kinds of content elements to enable you to achieve the precise look and feel required of your electronic documents and reports. Created documents can then be automatically delivered directly to users` web browsers, sent as email attachments or saved to disk. Actionable and navigational elements can be easily added to created documents to provide interactivity and enhance the overall user experience. eDocEngine currently supports the creation of documents in PDF, RTF, HTML, XHTML, EXCEL, TEXT, CSV, Quattro Pro, LOTUS 1-2-3, DIF, SYLK, TIFF, PNG, SVG (XML based vector graphics), JPEG, GIF, BMP, EMF and WMF formats. Metafile, BMP, DIF, SYLK and Text can be directly output to the Windows® Clipboard. eDocEngine does not use any external software or require any DLLs to be deployed for creation of documents in any of the formats. Benefits of using eDocEngine in business applications include: Reduced cost of information distribution by delivering information electronically; Increased process efficiency and shortened turn-around time in applications that require users to perform actions on documents using the built-in support for Action, Navigation and form submission features; Formatting information in exactly the way users require it; Greatly reduced developer workload and time-to-market using a common programming interface and code base for creating all document formats.
