Viruses, worms, dangerous spyware, and other malicious software continue to increase in number and complexity and pose a high risk. These infections can wreak havoc by causing permanent computer damage, destroying data, and enabling identity theft. Use iolo AntiVirus to detect, block, and remove these malicious infections. The iolo AntiVirus solution offers Real-time protection that runs continuously behind the scenes, with a minimal usage of system resources and no additional configuration needed. Real-time protection checks files as they are accessed, moved, copied, saved, or modified, either by you or by the operating system, for the utmost in constant protection. The On-demand scanner can inspect your entire system (all memory, boot records, files, and folders) or it can just scan the files and folders that you specify. iolo AntiVirus can also automatically scan your entire PC on a regular schedule. You set up the scheduled scanning to run on the exact times and days that you want. E-mail protection scans both incoming and outgoing e-mail, before messages are sent or received. It detects e-mail infections and then removes them before they can do any damage. Hourly updates ensure continual protection from the latest threats, with no user intervention required. Detailed setup configurations allow greater flexibility and control over what drives, file types, and folders are included in scans. Optional heuristic features are provided to catch brand-new viruses, based on behaviors and coding patterns that infections commonly use. Detailed statistics allow you to monitor antivirus activity and reveal suspicious patterns, such as tracking the senders of infected e-mail messages. You also have fast access to iolo`s Threat Center Web site, which offers current security information. You can access an online library of informational articles, read about the latest security risks and trends, and search threats by name for information about specific malicious programs.
