Altova MapForce 2005 Enterprise Edition is the premier XML/database/flat file/EDI mapping tool for advanced data integration projects. This award winning visual data mapper converts data on-the-fly and auto-generates custom data conversion code in multiple programming languages for royalty-free use in custom data integration applications. It is the first and only product to let you choose between XSLT 1.0, XSLT 2.0, XQuery, Java, C++, or C# code generation all from the same mapping design. With the power to map between any combination of XML, databases, flat files, and/or EDI data, Altova MapForce 2005 Enterprise Edition is the definitive tool for data integration and information leverage. Simply open information source(s) and target(s), drop in data processing functions from the customizable libraries, and drag connecting lines between the elements you wish to associate. MapForce 2005 automatically connects matching child elements. Popular function libraries come standard with MapForce 2005, and you can create and save your own data processing functions and add in existing XSLT functions. Once a mapping is defined, you can instantly preview the output. Mappings to a target XML Schema produce XML documents, while mappings to a target database produce SQL scripts, mappings to flat files produce CSV text files, and mappings to EDI files produce output according to the EDIFACT and ANSI X.12 standards. MapForce 2005 Enterprise Edition supports every major database, including Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, IBM DB2, Sybase, and all ADO/ODBC databases.
