Programul PaneCutter este destinat pentru generarea automatÄƒ a planului de debitare, pentru fabricanÅ£i de mobilÄƒ sau alte prodse din material rectangular (PAL, plÄƒci de metal, sticlÄƒ, etc.), al cÄƒror gamÄƒ de producÅ£ie este largÄƒ sau se schimbÄƒ permanent. MulÅ£umit algoritmului sofisticat, recursiv, PaneCutter gÄƒseÅŸte planul optim de debitare cu o pierdere minimÄƒ posibilÄƒ. OferÄƒ mai multe soluÅ£ii, întotdeauna sortatÄƒ astfel încât soluÅ£ia cea mai optimÄƒ sÄƒ fie prima, oferinduÅŸi posibilitatea utilizatorului ca sÄƒ aleagÄƒ o altÄƒ variantÄƒ. PaneCutter este un program foarte uÅŸor de folosit. Pe fereastra principalÄƒ, utilizatorul poate seta lungimea ÅŸi lÄƒÅ£imea plÄƒcii de debitat, ÅŸi lungimea ÅŸi lÄƒÅ£imea fiecÄƒrei piese dorite. Aceste informaÅ£ii poat fi salvate ÅŸi reluate ulterior pentru o eventualÄƒ revizuire. LiÅŸta pÄƒrÅ£ilor individuale nu trebuie salvate pentru efectuarea procesului de optimalizare. În cazul unor materiale (ex. sticlÄƒ) nu conteazÄƒ care este lungimea ÅŸi care lÄƒÅ£imea pÄƒrÅ£ilor individuale. În aceste cazuri pentru o soluÅ£ie mai optimÄƒ, utilizatorul poate folosi opÅ£iunea “Rotarea pÄƒrÅ£ilor acceptat”. DupÄƒ introducerea dimensiunilor pÄƒrÅ£ilor individuale, trebuie apÄƒsat butonul “Calculare”, pentru pornirea procesului de optimalizare. Durata acestui proces, depinde de viteza calculatorului, precum ÅŸi de numÄƒrul de piese individuale. Utilizatorul are posibilitatea de a alege dintre soluÅ£iile oferite pentru vizualizare (întotdeauna prima este recomandatÄƒ). Fiecare placÄƒ, cu planul optim de debitare poate fi vizualizatÄƒ pe ecran ÅŸi la cerere poate fi ÅŸi tipÄƒritÄƒ.
