Windows NT4, 200, XP, and 2003, when installed with the NTFS file system, support the creation of hidden `alternate data stream` files, but Windows Explorer cannot see them. Stream Viewer adds a new tab to file Properties windows, allowing you to see and optionally delete hidden ADS files, which may pose a security risk and can be used to hide `malicious` files on a PC.
